Hey guys? I have some trouble with animation my model from 3dMax.

In 3dMax my model animation looks good, but when I export this model in fbx format

and try to output in XNA Game studio, with XNAnimation I have a trouble.

My model looks like a spider.

I read  all discusions about this and nothing help me. So I want to ask some questions.

What is model bind pose? What I shoud do with my model before exporting?

And Has any another software for animation model from 3dMax in XNA?

Your post could have been of mine. I also got problems with aniamtions. My animations run with 3d-max and with the quicktime-player. Quicktime has a plug-in for fbx you can freely download at autodesk.

There are some informations in the fbx-file xna can not get along with.

Using tiny.x or dude.fbx from Microsoft samples xna-aniamtion runs properly. While using my animations arms, face, eyes and hair are disfomed.

I found out that Property: "GeometricRotation", "Vector3D", "",0,0,0 seems also to be responsible. If these values would not be zero the arms got disformed. So I built a small exe to set all these value to zero. It worked nearly fine. Already in the bindpose the face looks not so good. Especially the hair is too short. While running the animation it is the same odd face and odd hair.
