How to apply ray intersects model to animated models?

Hello everyone, I'm currently in my final stage of my project, and I'm trying to do some advance collision detection between the models. I have successfully implemented all the components of this part and tested their efficiency and the results are better than I expected except for one part: how to obtain the actual positions of an animated model vertexes? I managed to obtain the vertex buffer of the animated model immediately after loading it, so the position of the vertexes are always positioned to the model's first frame. My question is: How to transform the content of the vertex buffer to reflect the current animation key frame? Is there a way to get the results of the vertex shader back again and apply them on my vertex buffer? Thanks
