i wanna use the skinnedmodelbasiceffects and do toon shading with it

i wanna use the techniques also but i am not getting any way to use tht

need help

Sadly enough the only way I found out how to do it is by editing the source code.


So download the Source Code and edit the .fx in there to implement the toon shader.


You might want to set a new "Light" enum(I cant remember the exact name) called Toon and NormalDepth(for the black outline).

and then adding a technique to the .fx that correspond to each of those. Dont forget to set the technique in the appropriate file I forgot where it is.

Also for the vertex shader you can just call his function that he uses, but for the pixel shader just implement your own aka toon or normal depth.


then compile the source and take the .dll over to your game and hope for the best.
