Prefered Modeling Application for XNAnimation ?

Well the topic says it's most.
I've been modeling lately with 3ds max, but i've seen many compatibillity issues with models created in it and using it in XNA.
i've tried .fbx, pandora .x exporter, Kw .x export.. all of them had problems, one way or another.

So i'm asking XNAnimation - you created the library and a two greatly-working models as examples:
what's the best/XNAnimation preferred modeling application?
