Mesh has a geometry that does not have a skinning blend weights channel error

Hello,
I substituted the SkinnedModel from PlayerMarine to my own Animation, and it gives me this error:

Error    1    Mesh mirroredCutMesh1 has a geometry that does not have a skinning blend weights channel.    C:\path\XNAnimation_0.7.0.0_BETA2\XNAnimation Samples\Samples Content\Content\Models\ccc.fbx    Samples Content

Any ideas..? Any help would be very much appreciate it!

Thanks!

Hey!

The problem is that the model has some vertices that are not assigned to any bone.

If you checked this, so that all the vertices are assigned to at least one bone, and the error is still there, then this might be the problem with the bones themselves:
What animation system do you use? I had the same error while using 3DS MAX's Biped.
The solution is to delete any meshes that are used to "visually represent" the bones. For the Biped example, the working solution is to add an Edit Poly modifier to all of the biped's bones, then select all the polygons and just delete them.

Hope this helps.
